This vet is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. I am going to try and be fair in what I write so you can decide. Recently I brought my 2.5 yr old blk lab in for a yearly checkup. All her shots were up to date and she`s been on her Interceptor for the past 12 months. I adopted the dog 14 months ago and trained her to be a successful Pet Therapy dog. It was our first visit to this vet. We were there for a yearly checkup, stool test, a 12 month interceptor script, to fill out her pet therapy wellness paper and for a basic intro. As I expected this office to become my regular vet. The vet, a Dr Glanzberg (female) was professional and helpful. The Dr informed me that her office does not give scripts for heartworm with a blood test.Even if the dog has been on its preventitive for the past year. Cha ching.........thats $43 for the heartworm test. Which pissed me off sorta. The dog had a ear infection. cha ching ......$29 to clean the ears. $38 for anti biotic.....$27 for 4 oz of ear wash......stool test $29.... $47 for visit. So ok over $200 and I'm out the door. So today I call up and ask if I can bring the dog in and not be charged to have someone look at her ears to make sure my friends are cleaning them correctly. You see,I'm paralyzed from the chest down and can't do it myself. I was told there`d be a $35 charge !!!!!! ALL ABOUT THE MONEY !!! After a $200 bill 7 days ago,I expected a 1 minute inspection to be free. Now everyone I see in my journies will be told that this vet is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY !!
