There are two types of lettering for Hawaiian rings.  You can have your name in black enamel lettering or you can have them in engraved lettering.  Here is a picture showing the two Hawaian lettering styles.

Another factor to consider when buying a Hawaiian ring is how wide to make the ring.  We make custom rings from 4mm width all the way up to 12mm width.  A wider Hawaiian ring will show more detail and design.  When ordering a wider ring we recommend ordering a 1/4 to 1/2 size larger than your normal ring size.
