Have Fun With An Ordinary Deck of Cards!

Using an ordinary deck of playing cards to predict the past, present, and future events of your destiny is an age-old custom.

Using cards for this purpose is often refereed to as cartomancy.

Each of the four suits (diamonds, clubs, hearts, spades) represents an aspect of life, and each individual card has a specific meaning. Groups and pairs of cards with the same numerical value are taken into account for their potential impact.

Cartomancy should be awarded the same respect as any other means of serious psychic divination. It is best practiced during the most potent period of the day: the early evening or twilight. This is regarded as the bewitching hour, the mysterious occult vibration is thought to peak at this time.

You need to commit to memory the following interpretations. We will use the 7-up method, which means you use only those cards with a numerical value of sever or more plus the court cards (Kings, Queen, Jacks and the Ace's). This is an easy and accurate method that can be mastered in a reasonably short time.

To begin, pick up a clean pack of cards and hold them in your hands for several minutes while you think of a question you would like to have answered. Shuffle the cards and keep asking your question. The harder you focus, the more accurate your reading will be. When you feel ready, deal six cards off the top onto a table. Place them in six different positions, well apart from each other, face up.

Each position represents one of the following: yourself, your family, your friends, what you expect, what you don't expect and the outcome. Shuffle the cards again and deal another six cards off the top, placing each to one side of the one of the six cards already on the table. Repeat this one more time so that you have 3 cards for each position, six rows.

I have dealt the cards and here is the position:

First row I have a 10 hearts, ace spades, 10 diamonds. YOURSELF: There is a change ahead, which had legal connotations, but its a good outcome because both the tens are red.

Second row, 7 clubs, 7 hearts, 7 spades. YOUR FAMILY: Three 7's mean news of a birth, but the seven of spades suggests that there will be a slight delay.

Third row, 8 spades, 8 diamonds, 7 diamonds. YOUR FRIENDS: Two 8's suggest some mild gossip about a financial issue. This position belongs to your friends, the problem is theirs, not yours.

Fourth row, 8 hearts, 9 hearts, ace diamonds. WHAT YOU EXPECT: The 9 of hearts is an emotional wish fulfilled, the 8 of hearts is a celebration about that wish and the ace of diamonds represents either a letter or a ring. Given the other 2 cards, it would be safe to interpret this card as representing a ring.

Fifth row, queen clubs, queen hearts, queen spades. WHAT YOU DON"T EXPECT: 3 queens show that there is gossip bordering on scandal. Since this position belongs to what you are not expecting to happen, this drama may not be about you, though you will be drawn into it.

Sixth row, 9 diamonds, 9 clubs, 10 spades. THE OUTCOME: 2 nines are always auspicious. The outcome over the next three months is very favorable for friends, finances and emotions, but the 10 of spades signifies a delay.
