Haunted Items / Spellcasting / Reiki Guide
Haunted, Cursed, Charmed Items, and spell castings are becoming increasingly popular on Ebay. Many of the sellers here are genuine and hold strong powers. However, there are many sellers of these allegedly "haunted" items that are just trying to cash in on the trend.
So, how do you know who you should buy from? First of all, read their feedback. Honest sellers will have very little negatives, and lots of satisfied buyers. However, I've noticed that there has been a trend going around where a fake buyer will bid, not pay, then leave negative feedback for a paranormal seller who's otherwise doing very well on Ebay. Watch out for these fake feedbacks - it's only done to make a seller look bad.
The other way fake feedback can mislead you is if it's a fake positive. Sellers can easily set up another account, buy something from themselves, and leave GLOWING POSITIVE FEEDBACK to trick you into thinking what they want you to think. They can also bribe their friends into helping them out with positive feedbacks.
Another tip for you is to notice who's leaving them feedback. You might notice that this seller used to buy a lot of charmed items from other sellers, and is now most likely trying to make some money by pretending they have these same powers. Go all the way back into their feedback, and you might even notice that they used to sell other items like DVDs half a year ago - as a business. Maybe their business went sour and they're looking for new ways to make fast cash.
Also be aware that many scam artists will copy descriptions from Ebay almost word for word. If you find two very similar items from different sellers, you MUST check their feedback to see which of them (if any) is genuine.
There are a few popular stories that many different sellers will use. Well, you know how EBay is. One seller has success with something, and others will copy them. If you see the same story being repeated by lots of different sellers, you should trust your gut instinct to choose the sellers who you feel are most genuine.
Please don't be discouraged from purchasing haunted items from Ebay. There are honest sellers out there, but it takes a little work to find them. In my humble opinion, honest sellers aren't as flashy and don't make claims that they have the powers to do any and everything you wish if you have $200 to pay them. Always contact a seller before you buy from them. Ask them a few questions and see if their answers sound fishy and over-hyped.
Watch out for salespeople. A salesperson is a salesperson - no matter what niche they're targeting, they will usually tell you exactly what you're hoping to hear. They feed on your hope.
Choosing a real witch from all the scammers out there will be hard. The bottom line is that people are ultimately selling on Ebay to make money. You are blessed with intuition so use it when searching for haunted / blessed items. You know the saying "if it's too good to be true - it probably is." Trust me, I've been scammed before and it's because I got caught up with the bold claims that promise to make all my wishes come true if I just buy this little overpriced ring.
So please, be careful who you spend your money with.
