This is a Quick guide for those that are interested in Purchasing Haunted items on Ebay.
The Term Haunted on Ebay can be a Blanket term to cover many different types of subjest
What is a Haunted item ?
It is an item that has some type of metaphysical attachment to it. It can have the attachment of a spirit, demon, angel, entity, force, etc. or it can have a spell cast over it.
How can I tell if this seller is a real dealer ?
The easiest way is to check the dealers feedback. And if that doesn't help, then email them. Ask questions about the item forsale. You should be able to tell if that person is does have knowledge of what they are selling and the metaphysics by the answer they give you. A real dealer will have no problem answering a question you might have. Just make sure to give that person enough time to answer your question. Many dealers do have stores or cannot be in front of the computer all the time. Also ebay only allows so many emails at time.
How can I tell if an item is real ?
This can be very hard to do over the computer. Read the discription completely about the item and if you are not sure about something, then ask questions. The most important way to spot a fake or a dealer to stay clear of, is someone that does not show a real picture of what they are selling. Don't purchase anything without seeing it first. A real dealer will have no problem in showing you a clear picture of what is being sold. Either by way of auction or even person email to you. Pretty or wild pictures do help sell items but are you buying that picture ?
Also if something sounds like it came out of a video game or a comic or like an item in D&D be cautious. There are a couple of dealers out there that do confuse fantasy with reality when it comes to haunted items. This has alway's been a concern of ours. We have been dealers in the Metaphysical items for over 20 years and have seen this in many places even outside of ebay. Just use caution and if you question something run a search on the web to see what comes up.
How do I know if this item is ment for me ?
Go with what you feel. It is hard to get the "feeling" from an image over the computer but you can still be drawn to an item. If you are drawn to it, then it is calling you. If you think about an item after you see it and your away from the computer then it is calling you. That would definetly be an item it bid on.
What if the item I wanted sold ?
If you bid on something and you didn't win the auction don't be discouraged. Ask the dealer and look around. You may find something similiar. When an item is spell cast many times the dealer has sources to have another item that is similiar if not the same and can have it same type of spell cast for you. But if it was a Spirit bound being then this might be different because that might actually be a one of a kind item. Just keep in mind if you don't win that auction it wasn't ment for you and the universe might have something else in mind for you.
How can I tell if that entity is really bound to that item ?
This is a hard one to test before you purchase an item. Again read the items description carefully and ask questions if you doubt or need more information. Alway's remember if it sounds like a character from a game or out of some fantasy world then it probably isn't real. Also if someone claims to have a powerful entity bound to something and charges only .99 then you might want to think twice. It takes alot of time to cast or invoke a real spell or magick. And as alway's run a search on the name of the entity. You should be able to pull up information about real entities or at least give you a direction.
Could that type of spell really be cast ?
Spells can be cast for every purpose you can imagine. Even an ordinary looking object can have a powerful spell attached. Some Voodoo practitioners can cast a powerful item onto a plastic item. Just because something might not look that expensive doesn't mean the magick isn't there.
Should a seller be part of a group to be real ?
I have been asked about certain groups. Just because something is online doesn't make it real or what they say to be authentic. There are some groups out there that are misleading people by giving false information about the metaphysics and magick it's self. One should alway's do research and question.
Again it is sounds like it came from a video game or D&D then it probably isn't real. Use caution.
However there are many real groups and organizations that are out there - just alway's take a look around before joining one of them.
Be cautious of those that slander directly a person or dealer, this does not make them all knowing because they have a source to attack someone. Anyone that is really into the metaphysica or is authentic would not try to slander, attack or persuade you. There is one group that believes they need to do this in order to draw and keep people to themselves. No one should ever make you feel threatened to buy from only them. Alway's use your own judgement.
