Authentic High Quality Designer Jeans that seemed to disappear
Reba McEntire
One of the best line of clothing you could have possibly purchased was from the Reba McEntire line sold through Dillards. Reba's clothing was made from the finest of quality with that "Country Bling look" and razzle dazzle rhinestone embroidered design with a whole lot of country. It's durable quality made these clothes next to indestructible in their ability to hold their shape while looking like they cost a million bucks. Reba designed sweaters, jeans, tops, and even outfits after her onstage performances.
In March 2005 Reba McEntire partnered with Little Rock, Ark.-based department store chain Dillard's to launch a line of women's clothing. The "Reba" line appeared in 147 Dillard's stores and on the chain's Web site. Dillard's described the line as "a sophisticated, versatile collection reflecting her own sense of style, for women who share her time constraints and active lifestyle."The company said McEntire was involved in all aspects of the design process in conjunction with New York-based fashion design firm Icon Creations. The line includes career, casual and sportswear in sizes 4-14 and ranging in price from $48 to $289.
Try going to the Dillard's website and you will see that Dillards decided to drop Reba clothing completely and now you are lucky if you can find the remnants of these high quality unusual pieces of clothing on eBay.
Isabel Jeans
Not much has been known about the designer jeans made by Isabel. There has never been a website created for these high end designer jeans made especially for plus sizes and sold exclusively through Dillards at a retail price of $153.00 plus per pair. Yet, if the average consumer knew about these high quality jeans, they would have been flying off the racks. Isabel jeans were known for not only their comfortable stretch move with you design, but their style focused on an authentic mixture of genuine leather designs along with their upgraded level of denim that they used to produce these fine garments.
They had this Butter soft prewashed feel for softness and a broken-in feel from the first wearing. The jeans incorporated genuine leather pocket trim for a Western touch, bootcut jean with pocket detail leather trim. They had a 97% cotton 3% Lycra stretch that moved with you while you moved. They also had an embroidered back pocket that was sewn closer together like the Tummy Tuck NYDJ Not Your Daughter's Jeans to give your derriere a smaller look. They had an 11 1/2 inch rise in the front with a zip fly and a heavy duty front zipper, so that their fit would be like a fine leather glove. They also had mock front nail head designed slanted pockets to give you a slimmer look as well as a generous thigh area to make you move freely and look slim and unbelievable stretch with a worn out stone washed look all combined in one dynamic pair of jeans. They never made it to the top--Dillards stopped selling them too!
Department of Peace Jeans
Sportswear designer Z. Cavaricci's introduced a line of jeans called Department of Peace. They included a ravishing collection of women's plus sized jeans that were originally geared toward the "big girl" size. Bold, energetic, and accented with intricate detail, Department of Peace plus jeans added stylish flair to every outfit. A red-hot designer label for years, the Los Angeles- based Z. Cavaricci's plus jeans were sold through popular retailers such as Saks 5th Avenue, Dillards, Nordstroms, JCPenney and Torrid, but now they seem to be nowhere in site. If you go to Nordstrom, or Dillards site, you will find that they too have mysteriously diminished. Their average sale per pair of jeans ran around the $50.00 range.
Zena Jeans
Zena was another designer jean that disappeared off the market. These stretch denim elaborately monogrammed style had a 63% Cotton, 36% Polyester and 1% Spandex material that was just enough to hold it's shape and add comfort as you performed your busy daily lifestyle. The jeans were made to accommodate a dress up appearance and were based out of Nashville Tennessee. Their website produces absolutely no advertisement; thus, generating no publicity, resulting in no sales. These jeans were Fashioned with a 5-button fly and a bootcut leg, they had a vintage styled appearance and were perfect for everyday casual wear. A medium rinse, threadbare patches, and back pocket stitching add detail. They were made in a Paris Blues Sand Blasted Denim design.
It's unfortunate that many consumers were unaware of these fine quality garments that made people look like a million bucks.
I have been lucky enough to have in my possession some of these rare and hard to find designer clothing.
If you are fortunate enough to find these fine pieces of clothing on eBay, I suggest you quickly purchase them, because you know that you will be getting high quality merchandise that will last for years. It's truly a shame when high quality merchandise like this is tossed to the side because of poor advertisement.
