Beware of the latest hype about platinum in your hard drive. Yes platinum is on the platters but the amount is so small that most refineries wont buy them from you. I see alot of people here on Ebay selling hard drive platters for recovery These people dont know what they are talking about and please dont waist your money buying these platters thinking you are going to profit. Only Metal refineries have the capabilities and equipment to recovery precious metals and many of them have a policy about what they buy and what quantity they will buy it in.
