Spider Cupcakes 

1. Bake cupcakes of desired flavor.
2. Cool.
3. Make or buy black icing (mix with vanilla icing with black food color paste). 
4. Frost cupcakes.  Note:  If cupcakes are cracked on top - thin a small amount of icing with water and lightly frost the cupcake - then allow to set. This layer will seal the cupcakes and allow you to spread the icing crumb free.
5. Cut licorice whips into 8 legs.  Insert into cupcake.
6. Use fake wax teeth for mouths. 
7. Pipe red frosted eyes.
8. May also pipe "blood" on the fangs (wax teeth).

Goul Costume:

1. Put baby powder in your hair till it stands up (you will shed). 
2. Paint your face white with face paint.  
3. Hollow your eyes out with dark, dark blush or black face paint.  
4. Tear old clothes to peices (save enough intact to be decent).  
5. Apply fake blood and sew spiders and other bugs on the clothes.  
6. Glue bugs to bobby pins to put in hair.  
7. Paint your nails black and wear spider rings.
8. Bring a large plastic bug or gummy rat to "munch".
