Have you noticed some outrageous prices for costumes??? I certainly have. One in particular is a bat girl costume, which i am currently in the market for. I have been doing alot of research to get the best price. I am a single mother and don't make alot of money, and i can't afford to get ripped off. On costume websites this costume goes for anywhere between $35 and $55. The website I decided to go with it was $44.96, however any purchase over $40 gets free shipping and on top of that I had a 20% off coupon, which left the price as $35.96. A heck of a deal if you ask me. Well i decided to get on ebay to see if i could possibly get the same costume, maybe gently used, at a lesser price. I found one my size, auction started at $14.99, which is perfect. I could save on shipping because the item is close to my home and i could go pick it up. Right now the auction is up to $26 for a used costume when you can get a brand new one for $10 more. I always shop on ebay when i want to get a better price on something, I thought that was the main purpose of ebay. I was appalled when i seen some of these prices, I honestly think that some sellers are just here to try and rip people off. There is a seller selling this costume for $91 with shipping and handling on top that price, its ridiculous. My advice to anyone buying costumes this Halloween, do your research before you bite the bullet, some sellers on ebay are taking advantage of anyone with some naivety. If you don't believe me, go ahead type bat girl in the search window and see what you get.
