Halloween 6 Producers Cut

As you can see there are several different covers to one DVD known as Halloween 6 The Producers Cut.These are just a few of the ones I have seen for auction on Ebay.I would also like to add that a particular seller is promoting this DVD as an IMPORT and LEGIT...there is not a LEGITIMATE COLD PRESSED DVD for this cut of the film.  

I would just like to start by saying that this movie has never been released to the public in this form and according to DIMENSION FILMS there is not one going to be released any time soon.This is what is known as a BOOTLEG DVD which is TOTALLY ILLEGAL.Sellers put these on DVD-R ( purpleish bottom ) and are not COLD PRESSED DVD's(these are the silver sided DVD's from factory).No seller on this site or anywhere for that matter can produce one of these due to there has never been any made.Dont be fooled when they say its FACTORY SEALED or IMPORT DVD these are all still the same.....BOOTLEGS!The way this DVD was made to be a "so called" producers cut was that a very technically sound editor edited in parts of the film that were never ment to be used for the movie and made it this "so called" producers cut DVD.Thus the DVD quality is very much like a bad vhs image merged with the original DVD shots and a totally different soundtrack.Please read the paragragh that follows.

The F.B.I. investigates allegations of criminal or civil copyright infringment whether for monitary gain or personal use ( Title 17 U.S. code, section 501 & 506 ) this may constitute a felony with a max penalty of 5 yrs imprisonment and/or a $250,000 fine.

This applies to SELLER and BUYER for the simple fact that the SELLER knows it is BOOTLEGGED and you as a BUYER whether known or not you just purchased an ILLEGAL piece of merchandise.You might feel that you are safe because nothing has happened yet.....YET! Maybe you never will but if you are a seller on EBAY then you are already being watched and how many times do you think it takes before someone will notice? I personally dont feel the need to be out money and possibly prison time for anything....let alone a $10 to $20  BOOTLEGGED DVD.Do yourself a favor and just purchase DVD's that you know are LEGITIMATE..and if your not sure ASK the seller if it is a COLD PRESSED DVD.If...and I do mean if you get an answer back then you should know....and the reason I emphasised if is they wont answer 9 out of 10 times when its not legal.

In closeing if you see this DVD for sale or any other merchandise that is shady just report it and move on to the real LEGITIMATE product.
