In addition to the wonderful, whimsical Hallmark Ornaments that are collected by many we also have the family ornaments. These are the ornaments that Don and Adele Hall (owners of Hallmark) would send to their personal friends and special employees. Each year a different one was sent. It is difficult to find these as they are used to decorate many trees of family and friends. They are attached to a Christmas Card and are usually a very flat ornament. Sometimes they open up and twirl. Many are made of metal with filigree and insets. Most are marked with THE HALLS (year) HCI.
They are very difficult to find if they are off the card but still are very collectible.
