If, like me, you have thick, wavy, curly, misbehaving, frizzy-inclined hair, you may be on the lookout for products to smooth your hair.
Having spent umpteen dollars on hair products, I like to shop for my hair gadgets on eBay to save money. Here are the most useful items I've found:
- Hair flat irons, especially those with ceramic plates. I've had two, and a very popular one now, that I own and am happy with, is the Farouk CHI iron. It is gentle to your hair, heats up very fast and is squeeze-sensitive.
- Rotating brushes -- the Revo styler is a good one.
- Round metal brushes. The metal heats up and straightens the hair when held taut.
- Dryers. I bought a tourmaline ionic dryer which I've been happy with.
- And finally, hair conditioning and straightening gels. I've tried so many of these. One I like is the "Wind-down" by John Frieda, but I'll try any of 'em once. Put them on before drying to add protection to your hair.
And try to give your hair a break from products once a week or so if you can stand it. ;)
