Remy lace front Indian human hair wigs are the hottest new item out. They come in silky texture, Yaki texture, colors like #1B, #613, #2 and many others. The thing is, they aren't new at all. They were a wonderful secret of celebrities and people working in the hair industry. This is the type of wig you see on celebrities, musicians and the top runway models. Everyone from Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, Tyra Banks and Paris Hilton are wearing these pieces. The celebrities have known this secret for years and we've seen how well it has worked for them - now it's your turn!

Ordering a custom wig is a major process. It is confusing, wonderful, personal, frustrating and exciting all at the same time. A lot of the individual aspects are foreign to a first time buyer. We have been in the industry for 19 years selling these custom pieces, so we know how difficult this can be for an inexperienced client. We hope this guide will make it easier for you through this process. If you have any other questions or would like to view our guides on these and other pieces, please check out Not Just Wigs Storefront!

How to Pick Hair Density for a Custom Wig

Hair density is simply how many hairs are added to your hair system base. In the old days, high density was necessary because the base materials were usually made of thicker materials and would be easily exposed if hair density were low. Nowadays, with the advance of thinner base materials such as lace and thin skin, low density tends to look more natural. This is especially the case with the see through look along the hairlines. You can usually chose different hair density in different areas of the base.

  • Extra Light Density is 45%
  • Very Light Density is 50%
  • Light Density is 55% to 65%
  • Medium Light Density is 70% to 80%
  • Medium Density is 90% to 100%
  • 110% and up (For Women Only) This is very, very thick

This is of course an average that we have seen. Please check with your supplier before purchase to confirm their percentages. We hope this has helped you. If you need anything else, or would like to contact our personal consultants, please contact us through our Not Just Wigs Storefront!
