The first thing to do is to look at the ratings of a seller . Most of the time that is a great place to find information on them . However that is not always the best indicator of their attitude tothe buyer .
The second thing is to always remember to read the whole ad . What is in a title can be misleading .
For example
HP 618 2.1 megepixil Digital camera + video . That is very misleading . That particular camera does NOT take video . You can record audio ,a few seconds per photo and it does hook up to TV to view photos but does not take video .
You can google or just read the specs on a particular camera to find out the truth on what it is .Don't buy from any seller that misleads you . Alot would see that title and automatically believe that the camera took video and then find out after purchase it does not . Also it does not have any internal memory and has to have a card to work .Again that is very important thing to know .
These cameras are really good point and shoot .Takes good quality photos and are really easy to use .
However if you are looking for a video taking camera .This is not one .
Buyers should beware of misleading advertising and should always read any review on the cameras they are choosing and also the specs BEFORE buying .
If you see something in headlines or in body of ad of a seller that can be misleading , there are two ways to go about correcting it . You can report to Ebay or contact the seller and say "That is a little misleading as I know the camera and it does not do this or that "
If you choose the latter and the seller becomes defensive or haunty or downright nasty about it ..DON"T BUY FROM THE SELLER ...more than apt they are the wrong people to do business with ..
Remember to shop around and get the BEST price you can ..
