Owned this particular printer for probably 5 years and LOVE IT. Consistent quality and paper handling. We've run everything from standard paper to 110# card stock with out a problem. If you run large color blocks (ie: an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with a solid color background filling the page of your design) it struggles a little with holding the solid color. BUT that is out of the norm for most people and I've seen some commericial digitals struggle with the same issue.
I believe it's rated for something like 60,000 pages a month and some months we have put it to the test - it's performed flawlessly. We do not have a duplexing tray - although I wish we did.
Printer is big (ours is approx. 20" x 20" x15") and HEAVY - something like 110-120 pounds of heavy. We have a small office and so rather than sit this on a desk, we put it on a furniture dollie on the floor under a desk. Works perfectly! Rolls out for ease of access.
Ours is not USB -- but if you need it to be such, you can purchase an adapter for some $35.
Only down side is the warm up time if it hasn't been in use. I want to say it takes about a minute to run it cycles and come up to printing mode. Sometimes that is a little irritating, but then so are clogged ink heads when I run one of our ink jet printers. Guess everything has a trade off.
Suggest you buy your toner, drum, transfer kit and fuser on ebay. We do - and there is quite a savings over retail. (generally around 50% savings)
