Place all your bottled beer in a sink, cover the bottles with ice, then fill the sink with cold water until it just covers the tops of the bottles.  Then generously sprinkle rock salt over all of it. (you can use "Margarita" salt also).  Now let it sit... in about 10-15 minutes or so, your beer will be ice cold.  Works great if the beer you just bought is lukewarm...
