If you have just purchased a pair of wrap pants for the first time and are staring at these wondering what to do next try this: 1. Hold the pants with the waist up and leg down and flat and wide so you are holding 2 waist ties in your right hand and 2 waist tie strings in your left hand and the "good" side of the material is out and the seamed sides are inside and facing each other. It will look like a big wide pair of pants. 2. Hold like this so they are centered in front of you. There should be a center seam going down the front (stomach) and back (butt) of the pants. You want to line the center seam up with the center of your body. Since most wrap pants are the same in the front as in the back it doesn't matter which side faces you as long as you are looking at the "good" side of the material, not the inside seams. 3. Now drop the side closest to you. Now you will be looking at the inside or "rough" seamed side of the material. You will also still be holding ONE tie string in your right hand and ONE tie string in your left hand. 4. Step through the side that you just dopped (kind of like a big diaper) and tie the strings you are still holding in the middle of your back. If you look down at your stomach there should be a center seam and you are looking at the "good" side of the material. 5. Now pick up the half you just dropped. Find the tie strings and put one in each hand. Make sure the material is not twisted in the back and the center seam of the back goes down or lines up with the crack in your butt. Bring the back half strings around and tie them in the center of your stomach. They should tie right above the center seam of the front of the pants. Normally wrap pants are worn low on the hips but feel free to wear them wherever it is comfortable for you. Check the sides to make sure you are fully wrapped. Remember the more wrap on the sides the less chance of exposure in a strong breeze. If you have wrapped yourself and find exposed skin on your thighs perhaps this is not the right apparel for you.
