Some people sell fakes out of ignorance and unknowing. Others know but just see money as profit and a goal of achievement.

I have seen all black Prada’s with white laces. (Fake)
Black Prada’s have black laces.

Crocodile skin American Cups selling for around $80…  It retails for more than ten times the amount. (The high-top crocodile skin is one of the most expensive America Cup Prada Sneakers ever made. (Around $1,000)

*Double stitching started in the 07 Spring Collection. So the 06 Winter Collection and below are single stitched.
Newer Pradas are known as Nevada bikes. Newer Pradas also have something like a tag stitched on it. Inside the sneaker it should say ps0906. If it's high - top then it's 4t and if it's special edition (Orange with orange outter sole, etc.) then it starts out as "4e".

I have seen a seller with 3,000 feed back. Yet either out of ignorance or trying to cheat buyers they disgracefully sell fake Prada.

“Made In Italy” under the Prada logo inside the shoe insole is fake… This was true for early Prada shoes but I have seen upcoming real Prada’s (crocodile skin) have that. But only the crocodile skin Prada, others may have it. So it gets tricky. It depends on what year the product was made.

•    Prada’s selling and the listing says that the seller has sizes 5-12 available especially with more than one color… Automatically fake (No questions about it)

[Really think about it, certain official stores that sell Prada America cups don’t even have that amount supplied yet alone a random eBay seller.]



I would also like to say that every pair of Prada Americas Cup Sneakers differentiate; by (size, low-tops, high-tops, crocodile-skin, patent, leather and by year).

There are things to stay away from because it is more than likely to be fake.

Tips on How to Buy Prada America's Cup Sneakers

Focus on this:
- Prada’s selling and the listing says it has sizes 5-12… Automatically fake (No questions about it)
- Far away pictures (Try asking for more pictures to verify the authenticity)
- Not their pictures (commercialized)
- Seller’s feedback (This doesn’t matter much)
- Seller’s reputation (Make sure you give this a quick look at)
- The price of Prada’s (taking into consideration)
- No double stitching (definitely fake... unless the prada shoes were made around ’06 winter and good luck finding 3 and a half year old Pradas for sale.)
- The color of the red Prada sign and material (tongue & heal)
- The sole of the shoes
- Prada bag color and texture
- turn bag inside out
- The white part on the side of Prada’s the sole.
- Laces
- Rubber sole
- Not clear pictures
- The mesh visual and feel
- The shape of shoes
- The feel of the leather

I am a long time fan-favorite!

There is one thing I realized. No matter what, this one thing is mainly what you need to ensure 100% authenticity. This is all based on my experience for what it takes for the Prada has to be real. That one thing is… double stitching. That is the first thing I check before I start analyzing every single detail to make sure it is real.

Beware Buyers have real pictures and send you fake pradas.
