ENGINE TYPE:

Generators utilize overhead valve engines (OHV) or side valve engines. The design of the OHV engine lends itself to greater arirflow around the engine, and the combustion chamber producees a more even fuel burn for increased efficiency (23% more efficient than a side valve engine). They also come with cast-irom cylinder sleeves that contribute to a longer life. All this causes the OHV engine to run cooler, with lower exhaust emissions, and longer liffe.
