Here are three easy tips to save the life of your solar blanket!
- Avoid tearing your solar cover when removing it from your pool's surface. Pull gently if you don't have a solar reel.
- Store your solar blanket in a shaded area when it is not in use.
- Do NOT put your solar blanket on your pool's water surface after shocking your pool. Instead, wait for your chlorine counts to come down to at least 3-5 ppm. High chlorine counts will eat away at your solar blanket and cause it to become dry and brittle.
