as of 6/21 i've reported several fakes from chinese sellers, and THERE HAS BEEN PROGESS. i urge everyone to report fakes - let's not just complain to eachother! HERE's how to report:
1) click on the help tab above.
2) at SEARCH HELP type in "selling coins"
3) in the list that comes up, click on SELLING COINS
4) at the bottom of the page, under contact customer support is a link to "report"
5) and that's the place to put in up to item numbers separated by a comma. in the box that says " Enter your response here:" i paste in the text below and IT SEEMS TO BE WORKING.
please try it! i've had several fakes terminated this way (much to my suprise), and i've even started doing searches to root 'em out! however, i only report auctions that have at least 24 hours to go - so that there is time for the report to be acted on. thanks!

try this text:
"here is yet another chinese seller selling counterfeit US LEGAL TENDER COINS and trade dollars. the other foreign pieces and trade dollars are in violation of the US HOBBY PROTECTION ACT. ebay is aiding and abetting
their illegal distribution. please enforce ebay's stated rules.
if this seller were selling counterfeit $50 bills would you ignore that?
US silver dollars are still US LEGAL TENDER regardless age - they were never demonetized. although the legal tender status of US trade dollars was revoked in 1876, they ARE redemmable at the US treasury at the rate of $5 each under an 1887 statute - thus still fungible as US currency. don't believe me? check with your lawyers!
apparently ebay has been cracking down on some of these numismatic counterfeits - THANKS. here are more listings the need to be cleaned out of the system!"
got to give credit when credit's due... i have seen some progress- at least for now. thanks for seeing this guide.
