HOW TO PRINT ON TWILL RIBBON FOR SCRAPBOOKING

  • Do you like the look of printed twill and ribbons, but unsure of how to print on such using your home computer and printer? This article will help you create those one of a kind printed twills or ribbons at home.


    You will be needing:

  • computer

  • text editing software like MICROSOFT WORD with different fonts

  • printer

  • twill ribbon in your choice of color and width

  • white cardstock

  • double sided tape

  •  


  •        Using your text editing software, create the desired document using any fonts or images you desire to print onto the twill or ribbon. Be sure to save your work in case you need to edit the size of print, etc. Step Two:

          Once you have your document created, do a draft printing onto the cardstock. This will enable you to see if your twill or ribbon is wide enough for what you want to print on it. If the printing is too wide for the twill or ribbon, go back into your saved document and edit the size of the font/images until it will fit onto your twill or ribbon.

       When you have the printing the correct size to fit onto the twill or ribbon, adhere a strip of the double-sided tape directly over the printed words or images on the cardstock. Once you have the printing the correct size to fit onto the twill or ribbon, adhere a strip of the double-sided tape directly over the printed words or images on the cardstock.

       Adhere your twill or ribbon to the cardstock by placing it directly on top of the double-sided tape.

       You are now ready to print on your twill or ribbon. Simply put your cardstock that now how the twill or ribbon taped to it back into your printer tray and click print in your word document. Allow to ink to dry and then peel the twill or ribbon off the cardstock. You can now use it on your layout, card or other creation by attaching it with double-sided tape, staples, brads, etc.
