Most eBay Sellers are more than happy to give Buyers a discounted rate on shipping when they buy more than one item.
Here's the problem. When you finish making your purchases you are directed to a page that says "PAY NOW". This is only a suggestion, Not a command.
You do not have to PAY NOW, unless the seller requires immediate payment.
Also, when you are on that Pay Now "page" (eBay checkout), you will be charged full shipping for each item you bought. There will either be no insurance offered, or it will have been doubled or trebled. This is the way eBay's programs are written.
Here's the solution -
Wait for the Seller to send you an invoice!
It is that simple.
Do not make any payments!
Do not complete the sale until you have received an invoice from the Seller.
It may take a few hours. Depends on how often the Seller checks their Items Sold page. Sometimes depends on the day of the week. Some sellers do like to take some time off on the weekends.
Be patient and it will pay off with big savings on your shipping charges.
