GSH is also known as glutathione (pronounced: gloota-thigh-own), where GSH is probably the most important antioxidant and protector of your cells and body.
Never more than today is this more important for you...why? Its simple...our food sources are more and more depleted..grown on less than desirable soils, transported from half way around the world...laden with pesticides, herbicides and all kinds of toxic chemicals.
In nature, your body creates a lot of free radicals in various everyday mechanisms it goes through. It depends on our food supply to access the antioxidants needed to "quench" these free radicals to keep us safe from the oxidative damage these can cause. Whoops! Today..it just isn't so..and because of this..we see more and more chronic disease (diabetes, heart, arthritis) happening..and at younger and younger ages.
Did you know for example that on autopsy of children as young as three years old, following death from accidents or cancers...that there is plenty of examples of plaquing of arteries??? A process which should never been seen in anyone younger than mid 40's.
Glutathione is an antioxidant, immune booster and detoxifier, without it, your cells would disintegrate from unrestrained oxidation, your body would have little resistance to bacteria, viruses and cancer, and your liver would shrivel up from eventual accumulation of toxins.
Glutathione is nature's most potent anti-aging preventer...many researchers directly attribute cellular levels of glutathione as a determinante as to whether a person develops Alzheimer's Disease or not.
Each and every cell in the body is responsible for its own supply of glutathione, and must have the necessary raw materials to make it. Glutathione is always in great demand and is rapidly consumed when we experience any sort of pressure, illness, stress, fatigue and even excercise.
One cannot absorb pre-fromed glutathione or "reduced" glutathione from a capsule..and neither does taking NAC (n-acetyl-cysteine) work.
GSH Complex, does however work...and work extrordinarily well. Within 10 minutes its in your bloodstream and "on the job".
Please see my About Me Page for more information about glutathione.
