HELLO,

Are you in need of a good pageant retoucher?

Are you going to you frist pageant?

Maybe you just want to learn more?

Then here is a great guide for you. Frist let talk prices. If you go with the cheapest retoucher then you will get what you pay for. I'm not saying thats always ture, but mostly of the time you are paying them to learn. That may work for you if you are not going to a real pageant. I would search for free retouching frist. why pay someone for crappy work, when you can get it for free & help someone learn as well.

Now I'm not saying to go buy the highest priced retoucher, but you will at least get a good retoucher that knows what their doing. A good retoucher is wroth the money for their time.

A good retoucher cost around 25.00 - 70.00, The 25.00 retoucher can be just as good as the 70.00 retoucher is. Just be sure to take a good look at thier work.

How many before and afters do they have? some may have a few great ones but have limited the number of pic's for dial up users.

Do their photos look real?

Do they look like real pageant photo's shoud look? be careful of poeple trying to say they have done pageant retouching and have nothing to show for it.

Did they just slap stolen parts of someone eles child on to pics?  This will get you in trouble at the pageant so be careful, Your photo could be thrown out of the contest !!!!

Is the face all blurry?  a blurry face will not win you a contest!

Do they give you big and close up shots so you can really see their work? great retouchers don't have to hide behind small photo's.

Do they have a web site? Most great retouchers have a professional web site for the photographers they work for and other pageant moms, But not one of those free places, anybody can put one of those up and call them self a professional retoucher.

BUT MOST OF ALL JUST PICK THE ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST!

Hope this will help you out, so your not fooled into buying from a bad retoucher.

xoxo,

Ailey of Aileycat Designs
