GUIDE INSTRUCTION PATTERN
By Elva
Use for ponytails, hair buns, cuffs for blouses, small dog or cat collar, dress up a candle. The uses for these scrunchies are endless.
These scrunchies can also be purchased at my eBay Store MOONLIGHT-MADNESS
This particular scrunchie I've used the Red Hat Society Ladies colors,
but can also be used for Valentines Day, Christmas, Mother's Day,
Easter, or whatever your heart desires.
MATERIALS
- Size K Crochet Hook
- Purple Eyelash Yarn
- Red Fun Fur
- (may use one or two colors, or whatever type of yarn you choose)
- Size 3 1/2" x 1/2" Rubber Band
CHROCHET SCRUNCHIE PATTERN
- Tie the Purple Eyelash Yarn and Red Eyelash Yarn around rubberband.
- Tie a loose knot (cut yarn so you have about 1 inch hanging) so the rubberband is not squashed.
- Pull up a loop from under the rubberband and over to pick up the two pieces of yarn that you will pull through the loop and single crochet loosely all around the rubberband.
- Push all your single crochets back for fullness and single crochet around the rubber again.
- Do this as many times as you like until you get the fullness you desire.
- After you receive the full ness you desire, cut yarns about 1 1/2" and pull through last loop, tighten loosely, and tie 1 inch hanging yarn from when you started, to your ending 1 1/2", tie in a secure knot and cut off remaining yarns to same length of your crocheted scrunchie yarns.
