Welcome to the wonderful world of buying DVDS wholesale on ebay. Here is my top ten things to consider.
TOP 10
1. RANDOM SELECTION BEWARE Lots offering a random selection picked at the sellers discretion promising nothing but the chance of getting some of the movie titles listed in the description.
2. DOLLAR STORE DOUBLE FEATURES Often these lots are listed as the exact amount of movies rather then the real amount of dvds you will receive. Example: 20 movies listed however in reality it is only 10 dvds.
3. BRAND NEW SEALED I have come across lots containing brand new sealed dvds but when i received them they was plastic wrapped and yes most likely brand new BUT did not have the sealed security tape which is what i thought was standard on all dvd movies??? so it made me instantly wonder if these dvds was bootleg and if i resold these as new would my bidders would wonder the same, which could result in problems... so im basically stuck with them. only advise i can give is ask the seller if there is security tape before bidding.
4. CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION If its not listed ASK!!!
5. RENTALS Find out if they are previously rental dvds, they are often in bad shape, bad cases and covered in stickers.
6. SEASONS SETS SERIES Make sure the sets are complete, often sellers will add incomplete scrap sets to make big lots look more appealing.
7. MULTIPLE DISC SETS For example 15 dvds listed in title however there is really 10 movies 4 of them have 2 discs.
8. SHIPPING Extremely over priced shipping can easily be overlooked when considering your high bid price.
9. FEEDBACK Always check out the sellers feedback when purchasing any large lots.
10. THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING Not all that important when buying dvds however ive noticed lots received from smoke free homes are often cleaner... not exactly sure why, DIRTY SMOKERS? LOL
Thank you for reading my guide i hope it is helpful, best of luck in your ebay quest for success.
