I know, a guide for pop corn? Just keep reading.......
Every time I cook pop corn in the microwave there is a pile of un-popped kernels in the bottom of the bag. If you try to cook it long enough for all the kernels to pop, you guessed it-it burns. Well, I have the solution!
When poping the regular sized microwave pop corn bag, not the snack bag size, here is the trick. After you have cooked it the normal lenght that you use, carefully empty the popped kernels into a bowl. Leave the un-popped kernels in the bottom of the bag. Now close the bag and fold the top over about 3-4 times. Put the bag back into the microwave and pop it again. You will get a least 2 more bowls of pop corn ! Even better, I save the un-popped kernels, in the original bag, untill the next night. Then I can have pop corn for two nights, instead of throwing the kernels out. Just thought you would like to know.
