I have been speaking to many coin collectors and there seems to be an underground feeling about the future of our nickels!!!

Have you done any electrical or plumbing work lately...have you noticed the price of copper....its thru the roof.

Did you know how much copper countries like China are in high demand for due to massive building in their countries!

Well did you know nickels are made of 95% copper and it is costing the government more than a nickel to make a nickel?

How much longer will our government be willing to make these coins at a loss? 

Remember they did change the composition of the penny years back, and many now feel the nickel will be up for a compostion change. 

The theory is if they announce this now, there would be mass hoarding of nickels. 

So if I were you, I would start holding on to your nickels....especially the Westward Journey Nickels (2004-2005) as they were limited editions and prices are going to soar on these with the 2004 P Peace Medal nickel carrying the highest premiums!
