Sometimes, a rub-on transfer can be extremely hard to actually transfer onto a surface. Here's some tips that might help take the frustration away from a mishap and possibly a ruined project.
- First try rubbing one end of the very edge of design with just your fingernail. If that doesn't work, try rubbing the design with the handle edge of a pair of tweezers. Using a blunt object is best to begin with to avoid accidently tearing the design.
- When the backing of the transfer begins to turn a milky color, you can start rubbing design further down while SLOWLY peeling transfer off toward you.
- Check to see if transfer is fully adhering to your project. If it is, continue rubbing while GENTLY pulling transfer away from project (toward you).
- Usually once the transfer edge is securely in place, the rest of the design will follow suit using the above application.
- The good news is that once you get onto this procedure, even the toughest transfers glide onto your projects!
