I used to list items starting at the 9.99 just to get things started with the faith of power sellers that my headvase would close at my desired final amount - NOT!!!!!!!! _ I was a victim of identity theft and forced to use - the "BUY NOW - BEST OFFER" method and I gotta tell ya - IT"S NOT BAD AT ALL ~~~~~ YOU GET TO SET YOUR PRICE ~~~~ WHAT YOU WOULD OPTIMALLY LIKE TO GET FOR YOUR HEADVASE ~~~~~ THE OFFERS COME IN AND YOU CHOOSE WHETHER OR NOT TO ACCEPT OF DECLINE ~~~~~~~~ AND YOU ELIMINATE that not so excited feeling of someone winning your vinty minty $150 book value headvase for $24.99 ~~~~~~~~~I'm not sure I'm going back to the bidding process --- I spend a lot of time sifting through and finding fabulous items - take extra care of my headvases - clean them till they are sparkling - fall in love with them during our photo sessions - as they take center stage and look like celebrities - and have an emotional moment parting with them during shipping.......;-( I never sell a headvase - unless it's difficult to part with - my thinking is - IF I REALLY WANT IT - the BUYER IS GONNA LOVE HAVING IT TOO ;-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~You can also put a Bid out with a "RESERVE on it" BUT- I've noticed - "congratulations - you're the hightest bidder - " BUT "reserve has not been met" - sends a red alert message and people tend to leave.???????
