EVERYTIME I see those Art Deco Ladies all gussied up like Western Saloon singers _ I won't why they are still on the bidding cue??????????? I think it's great when someone takes a vintage headvase who is missing parts or just too chipped to sell and restores her with jewels and furs - that's cool - BUT WHAT ABOUT about this "FAIRLY RECENT INVASION OF BRAND NEW ORNATE PORCELAIN DOLLS that I see in stores in my neighborhood, NYC just 3 Blocks from Bloomingdales on 59th and Lexington ave....The store owners do not called them headvases - simply home decor figurines .....SOOOOOOOOOOO.... ??????? Why are they not categorized in the appropriate EBAY category...Porcelain Figurines - DECO figurines - Ladies heads - HOME DECOR ------having a one or two inch hole drilled in their head does not qualify them as headvases~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~bad enough we have silly glass clowns that grow grass and those clones/repros of Gorgeous Vintage Gals ***************************** Now we have these Brand New Ornate Lady Figurines that are almost 2 feet tall inches tall packed with satin,feathers, and ornate trimming ???there's not one thousandth of an inch left to hold anything else.......you could maybe add A FEW 4 FEET PEACOCK FEATHERS~~~~~~~~;-)..........~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I sincerely hope the Headvase community starts talking to EBAY>>>>>>>>>>> just go to the listing, at the bottom of the page is - "report an item" - the menu takes you to - miscategorized item and the number automatically gets sent to ebay. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe these Elaborate Ladies will do just as well in the correct and appropriate category as they are really very pretty but they are not headvases.
Just trying to keep it real~!
