ARE BIDDERS ALLERGIC TO HEADVASES WITH A RESERVE ???????? WHAT THE HECK IS THAT??????? .... IT'S A PHENOMENON ??? ~~~~~~~- A Seller lists a gorgeous headvase at 9.99 with a "RESERVE NOT MET" and 19 out of 20 times it leaves the closing date with the same "RESERVE NOT MET"......THE ITEM NEVER SOLD ?????? WHY ??? IT'S FABULOUS- IT'S MINT- IT'S RARE - IT'S TALL ???? ----- HERE'S MY SPECULATION......I've seen headvases go through the roof at $14,600 MEGA BUCKS that started at $19.99 NR!!!!!! and.......... For some strange reason - like a monkey who finally learned not to touch the electrified portion of the cage - Bidders of headvases - may find it frustrating- and no fun - to keep placing bids on a reserve item- and SEE THAT MESSAGE IN RED - YOU ARE THE HIGHEST BIDDER - BUT RESERVE NOT MET !!!!!!! so you place your bid and keep getting "REJECTED " OR KEEP LOSING " ........!!!!!!SO NOW WE'RE BACK TO THE " PSYCHOLOGY OF BIDDING " HMMMMMM......VERY CURIOUS!!!!!! I am only speculating here ... I think that RED FLAG in RESERVE NOT MET" doesn't feel very good to bidders as it translates to a form of losing and DUH>>>> who like to likes to lose ????????? especially deep pocket dealers !!!! I've seen many GORGEOUS HEADVASES with a RESERVE NOT MET - leave the bidding line without a single BID !!!!!!!!!!! CALL IT A PHENOMENON -_ I can't explain it _ this is only an observation... gotta go gotta check my bids ........and now my sales!!!!!! yeah ......went overboard - my lil apt looks like a gift shop EEEEK!!!!!
