Spring is here and the weather is getting better. Your child is having a birthday party and you don't want the same OLD thing. Wouldn't it be nice to have something NEW and INEXPENSIVE.
How about a KITE PARTY! Each child gets their own little paper kite. Little paper kites are inexpensive and each child would have a toy to take home. The kids could have a contest to see who can get their kite up in the air the highest. It would even be fun for the adults who are supervising the activity.
Instead of having the party at home, have it at a local park. Most parks come with picnic benches where you can set up the cake and ice cream. Buy some really cute paper plates and cups and throw them away after the party. No mess to clean up in the house!
The children would have the treat of being out in the fresh air and playing games rather than just sitting around eating. The kites that they get to take home will bring them hours of fun even after the party ends.
