Every day fairy items are gaining more popularity on ebay, and why not?  Fairies have been represented as wonderful, magickal and playful creatures, small in size, usually winged, like Peter Pan's Tinkerbell and Fern Gulley's Crysta.  In the realm of energetics fairy energy isn't all that different from these artist's interpretations.  

Energetics is the study of energy patterns and how to work with them in order to assist your self and your world in the process of evolution. 

Energetically speaking, fairy energetics are the wild card energies.  They are less predictable than other forms of energy.  When you are collecting and working with this type of energy  it helps to have some frames of reference about the energetic pattern in general.  

Fairies come in many shapes, sizes and types. 

They are not all small winged female beings with Barbie doll like figures. Neither are they all youthful or childlike.

When appearing in our shared world they often look like flashes of light, light circles, puffs of mist and a twinkling light. 

Yes, Tinkerbell had that right!  What you are seeing with your eyes is their energy trail, not the being itself.  It can be likened to seeing the tail of a comet in the sky but not the comet itself.

You may not ever see a fairy energetic, you may hear it or feel it instead.  This can be a whisper of a sound or word you cannot make out, in one ear more than the other; tinkling sounds; water dripping sound without any water actually dripping that you can find; the sound of soft raindrops on your window pane, a high pitched but soft sounding whistling.  It may feel like something or someone flew by your ear or brushed by your face.  Again, it is not the fairy directly but the aftermath of their having been there just a moment ago.

There are  as many kinds of fairy energetics as there are people. 

They are usually categorized by their earthly preferences, meaning they seem to become active on this plane based on the environment.  

Sprites, wood nymphs, water fairies all enjoy nature  and are more active when offered homes that create a sense of natural wonder.  You can do this by having plants - if you are not a plant person air ferns work - fresh flowers especially small and brightly colored groupings, and water altars.  Water items can be as simple as small bowls of blessed, rose, Reiki or sea salted water or as elaborate as full working waterfalls, coi ponds and bird baths.  Whatever you use, keep it clean and in good working order.  

Leprechauns are fairy energies and if you are attracted to this type think hobbits.  Create a Shire feeling on a bookcase shelf or a table altar and be prepared to enjoy time with some of the most tall tale telling energies ever.  These energetics are wonderful for creative writers and artists.

When you are creating environments for these fairy energies abandon yourself to your imagination.  

Think as if you are creating a miniature place for a child to play and explore or perhaps you are the keeper in an animal sanctuary and it is your job to make a world that is both safe and enticing.  This is not a harsh analogy - think about it.  Scientifically speaking, man is part of the animal kingdom and we all were children once upon a time.

You do not have to invest in fairy specific items to keep your energies involved.  Simply placing sea shells, a jar of ocean water, loose sparkling gemstones and crystals, even a simple bowl with soil in it and a few small pebbles works. 

Here is a list of easy to find items that fairy energies are attracted to no matter the kind of fairy: bells that tinkle, not electric bells.  Chimes, wood and tinkling chimes, which is one of the reasons why chimes work so well in feng shui - they are attracting fairy energetics. Small mirrors.  If you are old enough to recall the 60's and 70's, many of the clothes and home furnishings incorporated small mirrors into the design.  I just sent a purple pillow with these mirrors to my sister and she has enjoyed many fairy visits around this one item.

If you want to call fairy energies into your life it helps to be prepared for a bit of pranking. 

The energy is highly creative, possibly the single most creative of all energetics on its own.  Being so, when experienced in our shared world it may feel flighty, fast, fleeting, momentary, illusive, small, much like a butterfly. 

To the degree that the fairy energetic slows its pattern and to the degree that you raise your energetic pattern,  your energies will experience each other. 

Please remember, you are not just experiencing them, they are experiencing you.  A chaotic environment is not the same as raising your energies - and caffeine isn't making your energy faster, just possibly your heart! 

In the energetic world one of the easiest ways to raise your pattern is your diet.  Okay, I know you didn't want to hear that but it's a fact.  When you remove processed foods first and other vibrational destroyers such as nicotine and caffeine, you allow your body to return to a state where it can communicate to you what it needs to be healthy first, transformative next.  If you are sustaining your body on a diet filled with processed foods, chemicals, nicotine and caffeine, your body cannot even communicate with you effectively. 

Once you have balanced your own energy and created an environment for your fairy, you are free to call it to you. 

You can use any item that is charged with fairy energies or you can simply invite fairy energies in.  For most folks using pieces that have energetic patterns already works best but they are not necessary. You can simply start from a balanced mind and body set, create the environment, and use meditations, music and your own desire to call these energies to you. You see these energies are here.  You don't have to believe in them for them to be here; you do have to be open to them on some level for you to experience them.

Other items that attract fairies: running water, bubbles... they love bubbles, don't you?... mist, music that has tinkling qualities such as soft piano, xylophones, glockenspiels, steel drums. Yep, not all fairies are small and winged... steel drums have been known to collect some larger earth based fairy energies, also steel guitar, sitar. 

Easily found items on ebay: crystals, tibetan singing bowls, feng shui mirrors, chimes, water fountains, nature sounds CD's, plants, and OOAK, one of a kind,  hob sculptures - check out Haus of Brown, her work is delightful and powerful.

And if your fairies are pranking you beyond reason, which is what they do to me, then you may want to designate a corner or gathering place for them in your home.  I have advised them that when visiting my home they are welcome at the breakfast corner with a round natural wood table, two chairs, plants, candles, vibrant earth colors, flowers and pretty sparkling glass items abound. They can play all they want here, the rest of the house is mine.
