HALOS (tm) is My Favorite Rubber Stamp Mounting System

HALOS (tm) stands for Hooked And Looped On Stamps. It is a mounting system utilizing hooked and looped tapes (think of generic Velcro [tm]). Isn't that bumpy? you may think. Isn't that ungainly? Nope!
  • The key to why HALOS is so wonderful is the clear acrylic mount. On one side are recessed strips of hooked tape. Because the tape is recessed, it does not make any weird bumps in your stamped image. Also, the clear acrylic mounts can be flipped over and used with your static cling mounting systems (which honestly, I've never had much luck with)
  • Next, you attach your unmounted stamp to the looped tape. This is incredibly sticky and won't come loose from your stamp easily. When you put the looped tape stamp on your hooked tape mount, you now have about 10,000 pulls, on and off, on and off, before it quits working. I don't know about you, but I doubt I'll use any stamp that much!
  • Because the acrylic mount is clear, you can see EXACTLY where you want to place your stamp. Because the looped tape is thick, it's like pressing down on a very high-grade cushion.
  • Using the hooked tape, you can place this in a book or even on your wall, then when you are done with the stamp, just place it on the hooked tape and it's safely out of the way where you'll be able to find it easily later!

In the long run, HALOS saves you a huge amount of money over wood-mounted stamps and an even greater amount of space in your craft room!
