Having purchased many guitars on Ebay I'd like to warn others of a potential problem. Tobacco smoke smell can realy be hard to remove or wear off a guitar or gig bag. Because of the intimate connection between a musician and his or her instrument smokers cause the smell to penetrate the wood and cloth. Guitars with glossy finishes have a better chance of being cleaned but the wood inside is still raw and will soak up the smell.  I have won bids on guitars, unpacked them, and been shocked at how BAD they smelled; Gig bags are even worse. Try to find out if the seller is a smoker if you plan to bid on any instrument \.
