So, you have one of the collectable Barbie Dolls, such as the Millenium Barbie or a Holiday Barbie you would like to sell. Good for you, she will probably do well. The problem occurs when you want to ship her. The larger boxed Barbies are unwieldy and do not fit well in many boxes. What can you do? Here are two ways that I have found work well for packing these dolls, both require a little patients, a box cutter and some good tape. The first way you can pack her is to get a large box and cut it down so there is not so much space between Barbie and the top of the box. Leave a little room to add some packing material, such as bubble wrap or peanuts. I wrapped her in the bubble wrap completely and then cut the box to the proper measurement. This worked well and the box looked nice and professional. Remember, image is everything. Your customers will remember if they get a box that looks like junk, even it the product is fine. The second way you can pack her is using 2 priority mail shirt boxes. You can get these boxes from your local post office, or order free boxes right from ebay. To do this, undo the seam on the side of both boxes. Lay them down side by side, with one seam over lapping the other box. Generously tap them together. Next fold them over and tape the other seam so that you now have a wider box. Wrap Barbie in bubble wrap or shipping paper if she will fit snuggly and seal up the box. I also wrapped a piece of tape around the entire box for extra security. Don't forget to leave a calling card so your customers remember you. And that's it, Barbie is safetly packed and looks nice!
