What is Photomosaic?

First used in modern day (1993) by Joseph Francis from R/Greenberg Associates for a Bell Labs poster and later trademarked by an MIT student, Robert Silvers, Photomosaic (or photographic mosaic) is a way of arranging thousands of smaller photos, that when viewed from a distance, combine to form a single larger image. Originally only used as a new wave form of artistic impression, it was not until 2002 when they started producing jigsaw puzzles with the Photomosaic theme that the name took off!

Buffalo Games has the exclusive rights to the Photomosaic jigsaw puzzles for sale in the United States and Ravensburger has the rights in Europe.
