When buying an old tube radio on ebay, be sure to ask the seller about case condition & completeness of the radio, most older collector radio's are worth more money if they are complete & don't have breaks, cracks, chips, wood missing, tubes missing , bad speakers or torn grill cloth. Whether the radio works or not can also effect the final price, although the really rare catlin radio's sell high working or not. I have been a radio collector for over 45 years & have sold many on ebay & always describe my radio's well.I aslo buy & sell transistor radio's & the older ones made in Japan are worth the most in transistor radios & they should be in working condition for the top bucks.I also buy & sell old televisions & they to should be in operating condition.
