This is an actual guide to Great Books of the 20th Century, not just a listing of the books.  There are 52 books produced for the Great Books of the 20th Century.  This series was first started in 1998 with an original price of $51.00.  The complete list is published below in numerical order starting with the first book published for the series.  Easton Press currently charges $54.00 with shipping and handling for each book.  The price increased in early 2007.  Only a few titles are in stock at one time.   Some titles are out of stock for several years.  Easton Press will remove any books you do not want from the series.  It is possible to purchase individual titles directly from customer service. (Great Books of the 20th Centruy for sale)

Which Books are Duplicated in Other Series? 
Easton Press sometimes has the same book in a different series.  They charge different prices for different series.  Most of the books are identical.  Some books might have different artwork.  This series contains Brave New World which can be found in the 100 Greatest Series for only $44.20.  (100 Greatest Books for Sale)

Buy the Book That Will Get You a Signed Book
Great Books of the 20th Century also contains two books from the Masterpieces of Science Fiction:  Fahrenheit 451 and 1984.  You should probably buy these from the Masterpieces of Science Fiction so you can get credit towards your signed book since they are the same price.

Below on the left is the current artwork for Fahrenheit 451 from both series.  The newest release for Masterpieces of Science Ficiton was modified from the artwork on the right.  This was probably done in an attempt to save money.   Collectors are very dissappointed the more detailed artwork with the flames was eliminated.  (Masterpieces Sci Fi for sale)

How to Receive Faster Shipping
It may take several weeks for your order to arrive if you purchase an individual book from the series.  It also takes other books ordered from Easton Press several weeks to arrive.  This is because book orders are collected together and shipped out when enough orders are placed.  It is possible for customer service to "drop" your order.  This means the order will ship the following Saturday for orders placed before 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday.   Dropping an order tells the warehouse to actually pack up the book and ship it out.  The closer you are to the East Coast, the sooner your book arrives since Easton Press is located on the East Coast.  The most economical expedited shipping method is to have your book go out UPS ground.  This will "drop" the book and send it out faster than the USPS.

This series offers The Great Gatsby at a reduced price of $10.20.  One must often call customer service to obtain the discounted book if it does not happen automatically.  Be sure to call their customer service if you have not received your discounted book. 

Free Returns
Easton Press will allow you to return any book you do not want free of charge for a full refund.  They will also send you replacement copies of any books that might arrive damaged free of charge.  Just call the customer service number and ask for a free return label.   Customer service can also help you with any damage issues.
