Custom T-shirts for Events
Custom t-shirts are a great way to promote your events such as family reunions, church events, poker runs, charity events, or sports. People wear them and other people see them, so you'll get free additional advertising. They can also be turned into priceless memories for gifts for special people. This guide provides some tips to help you make the most of your custom t-shirts.
What Design ?
Focus your design on the organization or team. What is your organization and what does it do? What is the purpose of the event? Who is the guest of honor? If you have multiple events in a year, incorporate multiple events in one shirt design. Make it "pop" with lots of color and style.
How Can I Make it Special?
A signature shirt is always a great gift. At events with children, provide laundry markers so that the kids can sign each others shirts like they might sign a yearbook. At birthday parties, have the guests sign shirts for the hosts. At retirements, have coworkers sign the retirement shirt. Signed shirts are kept and treasured.
How Many?
If add the cost of the shirt to the price of your event, then order one shirt per paying person. Try to pre-sell shirts so that you get pre-advertising.
If you want to sell the shirts to make money, then estimate how many attendees you will have and think about how many of them will actually buy shirts. Our experience shows that only between 10-20% of attendees will actually buy shirts at an event.
What Style?
Women want women's styles. Women's styles have scoop necks, may be tank tops, and are generally form-fitting. Most women do not like regular t-shirts.
Men like men's styles. Lots of them like to rip the sleeves off t-shirts, so you can plan your design with that in mind.
Low-Volume?
Just because you don't have a large crowd, doesn't mean you can't get a nice shirt. Direct-to-Garment Printing allows you to order low volumes of shirts from vendors such as Art in Motion, LLC. Art In Motion Custom T-Shirts
