There have been many " Hidden Secrets to Music Production" Especially when using a home based compuer and  lets not forget ...."That Hidden Budget".......Forget Spending Tens of Thousands of Dollars doing what you Love.............Ebay has it all Right at the Palm of your hand...........First and Foremost....  You will need a computer capable of handling all of your dreaded space and processing needs.... so.... Mac or PC isn't the first issue.........the first issue is  Processing  Speed And Hard Drive space (accompanied by Ram).......You will need 1. A computer with at Least 2.6 gigs of processing speed  2.At Least a 250 gig hard drive..... And..... 3. at least 1 Gig of Memory to get your computer to funtion correctly with the strain of computer software ............That not all your computer has to have something to communicate with your outboard gear...... So you now have to find either a sound card with midi connectors or a usb driven midi syncronizatioin device (such as a Midi sport 2x2 ) (4x4) ect ect... This will help you be able to sync. your keyboard with your computer .....Thats not alll.........You will then need software .......that will let you record your Music creations into this computer "which under my specifications should be working  quite fine " Theses programs are any of the above..... Cubase..... Cakewalk..... Sony acid pro ..... Fruity Loops.....Logic....... Protools....... and a million others that will help you do your thing .....Which is the best you may ask " They are all good"..... Stick to learning one program at a time........ other wise........" You Will get confused".........Last and not least you will need a Microphone " you can use a regular mic and it will work .......But if you want clarity................ Condenser mics are a Must.........Followed by either a usb connector or a Pre amp With some Phantom Power ........".Most of these things"......... "Do Not Be Confused"...................."
