Here's an interesting novelty item from the 50's: a Picturesque brand "mosaic wall panel by number" kit, more familiarly known these days as gravel or pebble art. The "pebbles" are actually small nuggets of opaque and translucent glass. The colors in this particular kit are in varying shades of turquoise, coral, green (kiwi and deep moss), brick, topaz, gold, black, and white. There are eleven sealed plastic pouches of glass nuggets in all. The size of the panel, noted on the box, is 8-1/2 x 24 inches.
