Grail- A Guide to Grail & Fashion
Third generation fashion designer Peter Ross founded his own line, Grail, in 2003. Grail is intended not just to be about fashion, but to celebrate a way of life--the line is designed with particular artists, from surfers, to actors, to musicians, in mind. Grail clothing features hand-drawn artwork, unique wet processing, and one-of-a-kind presentation.
After debuting at the MAGIC fashion show in February of 2004, the Grail line exploded onto the market. The tight-fitting, hand-styled outfits produced by Grail are unlike anything else in high-end fashion today. All Grail products include bold designs printed on them--there's nothing subtle about Peter Ross's style. The designs embrace music, lust, rebellion, and total confidence.
T-shirts, jeans, tank tops and sweat shirts are the core of the Grail line. Grail clothes feature a worn, paint splattered style--suitable for every day wear, yet edgy and fashionable. Grail's trademark gothic style is evident in their use of a number of erotic and violent images in their apparel.
Grail appeals to the young jet-setting crowd and counts Lindsay Lohan, Ashley and Jessica Simpson, and Nicky Hilton among its celebrity customers. It is Grail's update of the starving artist look that often appeals to the young and trendy. The hand-drawn skull and gothic rose is Grail's trademark, and appears on almost every piece of Grail clothing.
