The company I would send my own cards into for grading is first and foremost SGC B/C of absolutly no bias or alterior motives whatsoever. In addition to that. They are the most thorough and most importantly consistent and correct when it comes to grading of cards. They pride themselves in the fact that they to the utmost possibility ensure that card in their slab is a 100% Authentic and 100% accurate graded card PERIOD. Also although it does seem like they might be unusually tough at times. You can rest assured if you look at the card in the particular case from a different angle , or light. You'll probably see why it got the lower grade. Unlike Beckett who also has a reputation for tough grading undeserved though. The fact remains that although they have reined in their graders a bit right from the get go they purposely whether they admit it or not graded cards harder than they needed to be, just for the purpose to make it seem like they are also being the most thorough at inspecting the card. Also there is the fact of the matter that they are in the buisness of making PRICE GUIDES and hence have a huge conflict of interest. Case in point they have just recently started a Graded Card Price Guide and now no longer talk about supposed what they call outrageous prices paid for graded card. WOW what a coincidence when they did do their little article in their monthly price guide magazine before about people paying what they " Beckett" thought was too much in every case it only listed other Grading Card companies in that piece everytime it was always an PSA , SGC , or GAI graded card but oh no never one of theirs. That alone is pure proof that they have lost some of their integrity.
