Got a check paid to my business: Hip Girl Boutique. I don't have a business account. Checked the procedure of openning the business account, too much trouble.
Read a book before that I can endorse the check to myself. Did some research online, asked questions at yahoo groups. Here is the solution:
1. Ordered a deposit stamp:
Hip Girl Boutique
12345 E Fox Hill Dr.
Buffalo Grove, IL 60089
Pay to the order of
12345 E Fox Hill Dr.
Buffalo Grove, IL 60089
Pay to the order of
2. Use the stamp to endorse the check, and then write my name below 'pay to the order of'. Then sign my name.
I deposit the check to Chase and they accepted it.
