I see that more "Gold and Silver" coins are being offered out of China, and I feel for the poor suckers that will be fooled by them. They look real to the untrained eye, and the ads say 24K gold. These are gold plated. To conterfeit coins in China is to flirt with the death penalty(axe to the neck), but the way around that is to sell slabs of gold plated lead or pewter to unsuspecting foreigners who don't read Chinese. A simple rule is to look for the denomination, or lack of one. Unless it is specifically stamped on the coin 10, 20, or 50 Yuan, you can bet that what you'll be getting is crap. Also look for the shipping price. The Chinese understand that people will be disappointed with the crap they've gotten. That's why they only accept Paypal because once they have your money you are SOL on getting the shipping price refunded. Buy carefully.
