Choosing a gold pan has gotten to be quite a dilemma. The pans out there are many, Proline,Garrett,Roaring Camp,Keene,Grizzly, Klondike,Trinity,Hex to name a few. New to the market are the HEX and the GOLD RUSH Pro pan. The Hex has six flat sides, large riffles, small riffles and textured sides for black sand. The Hex is a great pan. The Gold Rush is probably the easiest and fastest pan we at the shop have ever used. So far it is the best sampling pan we have used. The Gold Rush Forces the gold to stay in the pan, not try to hold it from splashing out. We are panning each pan of material in under 1 min. down to black sand and gold. The old pros will speed up panning dramatically and the beginners will be panning like old pros in less than a day. Soon the pan of choice will be the GOLD RUSH for fast sampling and bulk panning. Reports from the dry panners have been that this may be the best dry gold pan they have used. One more reason to try it out.
Round pans slosh material back and forth and take a long time to settle heavy material to the bottom of the pan. The sloshing will spill some gold out. The Hex pan settles material out to the bottom a lot faster than a round pan. Keeping more gold is the object of a gold pan. The Gold Rush settles the material to the bottom in record time. Allowing for faster panning of material. More material equals more gold for your effort.
