Giving and recieveing Feedback

I first would like to remind folks what feedback is exactly used for.

Feedback forum

After that would ask that they go and read the eBay rules to using the feedback system.

while I am not going to sit here and copy the rule of feedback from eBay , because that would make for a very easy guide to just copy and paste, what I am going to say is , Right now its the only system we have.

And while I myself do not believe that the system works 90% of the time, The other 10 % they system seems to work fine.

Feedback is basically to let the seller and buyer know that they were happy or unhappy with  the transaction . while most seller will work with you not to receive bad feedback, many buyer  jump the gun and leave negative without even contacting the seller. and after that well then the seller just does the same, Unless the seller  has already left good feedback for a speedy payment, in that case it just stinks.

This system while it is all we have right now really is not set up correctly to where as they feedback goes through even one more channel before being marked negative. If they had just one more channel that a person had to go through before red could be left it would do so much,
(A) it would right off the bat get rid of some who would be just to lazy to bother with it.
And
(B)  The ones that did would have to write an in depth letter as to why Red was being left  and it would have to be reviewed and  sellers and buyer would have the chance to refund or fix  the problems  before feedback could be left.
I am only speaking of RED Negative , Gray Neutral and Green would still be able to be left right away.

Some people just get kicks out of ruing others good marks  and that is not fare, and some never give the other party  even notice that there is a problem, again Unfair.

But until we can get some action at the high end of eBay we have to deal with this system that is in place now.
as sad as it is to say, some are opting to leave no feedback at all.
Then we have the  you leave it first syndrome, where as  one person waits for  the other to go first.  I know sound so childish but this is what its come down to.

My way as sad as it it now is to just wait, I hate that, I use to just enjoy leaving my feedback as soon as someone paid, and be done with it, but its turned into  a battle of the red-marks.

I hope that eBay will someday adjust this to be a bit more user friendly but until then I guess we are all on our own as to how we handle it.
